What’s my role?
My role, as counsellor, is to aid this journey by empathically listening and encouraging an exploration of your internal world.
This is done non-judgementally and with a belief that you, the client, knows best. I do not have the answers to your difficulties but I will walk alongside you and help you to process the insights that you gain. In turn, this will enable you to make choices and live a happier and more authentic life.
Counselling can either be open ended on a long term basis, or take the form of short term “solution focussed” work.
Clients may choose counselling because they recognise that value can be gained by discussing and exploring their inner thoughts with an independent person, something that may not always be possible by talking to a close friend or family member.

Inspiring stories of growth from my clients
When I first came to see Jenna, I was coping with some big events that had happened in my life over the previous years, one of them being grief and another sexuality. I was feeling very anxious a lot of the time and struggling to deal with day to day life or any changes to it. Through working with Jenna, and processing through my feelings, I was able to see life with a kinder perspective and cope better with day to day issues. I found Jenna to be extremely empathic, caring and also professional during our sessions. By the time I left therapy I was in a much better position to deal with life and had a much kinder voice to myself which I credit my time with Jenna giving me. It has helped me cope enormously since leaving therapy. I would highly recommend Jenna as a therapist
